“The theme is missing style.css”

You uploaded the package, lumina-edu-package-<version>.zip. Unzip it on your computer, then upload lumina-edu.zip under Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme.

Program or instructor URLs show 404

Confirm Lumina Edu Core is active, then visit Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes once. Check that no page or plugin uses the same singular base. While the companion plugin is inactive, program and instructor addresses do not exist and WordPress sends visitors to your home page; see Deactivating and exporting.

A program has no next date

Confirm an attached Session has a valid start date from today on, is Open, and is not authored Past. A closed session may still display with its label. Lumina Edu never invents a date.

A date disappeared from a page

That is intended. A dated row — a session, a start, a deadline — leaves the page on the day it passes, and the next one takes its place. It happens in the visitor's browser too, so a cached page does not keep it. If nothing takes its place, the program has no later session: add one under Programs → Sessions.

Check that the record is published and still assigned. Removed relationships are omitted cleanly.

Demo import times out or media fails

Increase the host's PHP execution/memory limits through its supported control panel, confirm outbound HTTPS and review One Click Demo Import's result and import log. Do not assume a partially completed import is safe to publish; on a staging or backed-up site, use the scoped Demo reset and rerun the dashboard import after fixing the cause. A photograph that did not arrive shows a stand-in plate and is fetched on the next import.

Photographs show tinted plates instead of pictures

The plates are the theme's stand-ins. They show where a demo photograph is not in your Media Library: the import could not download it, or you inserted a pattern on a site without the demo. Run the demo import again once your server can reach tailthemes.com, or select the image and Replace it with your own. See Photographs.

The header prints an item only when its page exists and is published, found by its address (programs, sessions, admissions, consultation, faq…). Publish the page, or restore its slug. See The header.

The hours are wrong on one page

The hours come from Settings → Site details → When you are open. Once a day-by-day row is recorded, the one-line version is written from the rows. If one page still shows old hours, its line was rewritten as plain text and is no longer bound; see Bound lines. A header or footer you saved in the Site Editor also keeps what it was saved with.

The Contact page shows a link instead of the form

Choose the form in Settings → Site details → Where else this site hands over → Enquiry form on this site, and check that Contact Form 7 is active and the form is published. See the contact form.

Sections do not rise or drift

The motion needs a browser with scroll-driven animations, and it is switched off when the visitor's system asks for reduced motion. In both cases the page is complete and still, by design. See Motion.

Changes or dark styles look stale

Clear the specific page/cache layer, then reload while logged out. Check whether a Site Editor style customization overrides the theme file. Do not delete the database to clear CSS.

Form email does not arrive

Lumina Edu does not send form email itself. A mapped Contact Form 7 form submits through Contact Form 7. Review its mail configuration, sender domain, logs and spam folder. If Flamingo is active, check Flamingo → Inbound Messages: a stored message with mail_failed proves persistence and a mail failure are separate conditions. Fix mail delivery before relying on the form.

An external URL is refused

Use a complete HTTP or HTTPS URL. Other schemes and malformed destinations are rejected. Test the target directly and make sure its privacy and fee information is current.

RTL or a translation wraps poorly

Update the translation, inspect at narrow widths and report a reproducible theme layout defect with the locale, route, screenshot and browser version. Content-specific wording remains the site owner's.
