Site Editor, styles and navigation
Open Appearance → Editor to change global styles, templates, template parts and navigation. Lumina Edu uses native WordPress blocks; no page builder is required.
Global styles
Use Styles to choose Base, Night Study or Workshop and to adjust supported colour and type presets.
- Base is the Stone page with Paper tables, ink rules and one Signal orange spent on decisions.
- Night Study is a fixed dark scheme: the ink of the hero band taken over the whole page.
- Workshop keeps the Stone page but marks decisions in ink-green instead of orange, for training catalogues that sit beside a client's own brand.
Each variation keeps the same content, layout and markup; only the colour set changes. Typography is Bricolage Grotesque for text and Geist Mono for dates, prices, lengths and labels, and both fonts are bundled with the theme, so no font is fetched from a third party. After changing any colour, review links, buttons, form controls and focus rings in both broad and narrow layouts.
Header, footer and navigation
Open Design → Patterns → Manage all my patterns, then find Header or Footer under template parts. Select the Navigation block to edit labels and destinations. The shipped header groups all public institutional routes under Study, Admissions and Campus: Programs, Departments and Compare; Admissions overview, Reviewed deadlines and Sessions; Campuses, Instructors and About. Keep those destinations reachable when changing the groups. Preserve the visible consultation button as the alternate conversion route.
Templates and patterns
Templates control repeated structure; page content remains in Pages. Full-page starter patterns can be inserted when creating a page. A pattern is a starting copy, not a permanently linked master.
If a template was changed accidentally, open its options and clear or reset the customization to use the theme file again. Export valuable Site Editor changes before resetting or migrating.
The pattern and template reference maps the product patterns to real Northline routes and screenshots. Use it to identify a region before editing or restoring it.
What fills a dynamic region
Programme and instructor blocks read fields from Lumina Edu Core. Editing the surrounding page changes its headings and explanation, not the structured records. Use the relevant Programs, Instructors or Sessions screen for the facts inside a Matchboard, decision panel or session ledger.
