Compatibility, as a dated test
This page is a record of what was tested, on which versions, and when. It is not a claim that Lumina Edu works everywhere. Software moves: a version that passed on the date below can change underneath a passing test, and a version nobody has tried is a version nobody can vouch for.
Before you install on a live site, check the versions your site actually runs and compare them with the table. If yours are newer, try the theme on staging first.

The theme's own readme.txt and the release notes carry the tested-up-to versions for the build you
downloaded. Where this page and that file disagree, the file that shipped with your copy is the one
that describes your copy.
Accessibility and layout, same date
Measured on 19 September 2026 against a provisional archive, on WordPress 7.1 / PHP 8.3:
- axe WCAG 2 A and AA: 10 of 10 routes pass, in both the light and the dark colour scheme, with no violation suppressed.
- Keyboard: the skip link is the first stop and the following 12 stops all show visible focus.
- Rendering: every route passes at 375 px and at 1440 px. At 768 px the sessions, instructors, style guide and 404 routes pass; the programme rows on the home page, the programme directory and a programme single overflowed their container on that provisional archive. Re-measure this on the archive you received rather than assuming either result.
Browsers
No browser matrix has been run. The accessibility, keyboard and viewport checks above ran in the project's pinned headless browser, which is one engine, not a matrix, and the report does not name it. Until a real matrix is run on named browsers and versions, this page will not list any — an untested browser in a compatibility table is a claim nobody measured.
Lumina Edu is a native WordPress block theme. It uses standard HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript for the Matchboard controls, and the theme's sections fall back to plain markup where a feature is unavailable. That is a reason to expect it to behave well in a current browser; it is not a test result, and it is not offered as one.
Requirements
- HTTPS.
- A WordPress and PHP version that is still receiving security updates.
- A writable
wp-content/uploadsdirectory, and enough PHP execution time for the optional demo media import.
If something does not work on your versions
Note your WordPress version, your PHP version, your browser and what you saw, then see troubleshooting and support. A version pair nobody has tried is useful information, not a complaint.
