Tested versions
This page lists what Lumina Edu was tested on, and when. It is a dated record, not a promise that every other version works: a version that has not been tried is one nobody can vouch for.
Before you install on a live site, compare your WordPress and PHP versions with the table. If yours are newer, try the theme on a staging copy first.
Requirements
- WordPress 7.1 or later.
- PHP 7.4 or later. Use a PHP version that still receives security updates.
- HTTPS, and a writable
wp-content/uploadsfolder. - For the optional demo import: enough PHP memory and execution time, and outbound HTTPS (see Requirements).
- For visitors: current Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
Each row below is the last run of that check, with its date. A row dated before 30 September 2026 was run on an earlier release of Lumina Edu; it is kept because nothing newer replaces it yet, and it tells you what has been tried, not that every later change was tried with it.

The readme.txt inside your download carries the "Tested up to" version for the build you have.
Where this page and that file disagree, the file that came with your copy describes your copy.
Optional plugin connections
Each of these is a separate plugin you install yourself. Lumina Edu Core connects a program or a session to it; the other plugin keeps its own records and settings. The table says exactly what was tested. Anything not listed was not tested, so try it on staging before you rely on it.

In the Contact Form 7 test, the local mail server was deliberately broken: the enquiry was still stored by Flamingo and marked as failed mail. That is why Registration, forms and privacy asks you to test mail delivery separately.
Lumina Edu is a block theme and needs no page builder. Elementor and WooCommerce are not supported and are not listed here.
Accessibility and layout
Checked on 27 September 2026 on the release ZIPs, WordPress 7.1, PHP 8.3, in headless Chromium:
- Automated accessibility checks (axe, WCAG 2 A and AA) pass on every page tested, in both the light and the dark colour scheme.
- Keyboard: the skip link is the first stop, and the keyboard stops tested all show a visible focus ring.
- No page scrolls sideways at phone, tablet or desktop widths.
Your own content, colours and connected plugins are part of the finished site, so recheck after you change them; Accessibility, translation and RTL has a checklist.
Browsers
Lumina Edu is built for and supported on current Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. It uses standard HTML and CSS and a small amount of JavaScript for the finder, the compare tray and the dated rows, and the finder also works without JavaScript. The scroll reveals and the photograph drift need a browser with scroll-driven animations; a browser without them shows the finished page, with nothing hidden. See Motion.
What was read, 1 October 2026, on the live preview: Chrome and Edge (Chromium 153), Firefox 155 and Safari 26 (WebKit), on a desktop at 1440px and as phones at 390px (Chrome on Android and Safari on iOS by phone emulation; Firefox as a narrow window), in both colour schemes. Every home and inner page, a program, an instructor, a department and a campus, and the finder sentence, the compare tray and page, the instructor filter, the questions, the phone's menu and the enquiry form. No page overflowed, no image or font failed and no reveal was left hidden in any of them; Chrome, Edge and Safari run the scroll reveals, Firefox shows the finished page. The faults found in these browsers are fixed: in 1.2.1 a resize error Safari logged on the compare page (nothing a visitor could see); in 1.2.2 a photograph Firefox logged as corrupt when the theme changed its request mid-download (the picture itself was intact), and the compare page's program pictures, which Safari drew as a blurred sliver.
The live preview's enquiry form
The live preview at https://preview.tailthemes.com/lumina-edu/ runs Contact Form 7 and Flamingo.
An enquiry sent there is stored, no email is sent, and the preview's regular reset clears it. This
setup belongs to the preview site; it is not part of the download and does not configure your site's
mail or booking.
